FFV make 2 way diaphragm type solenoid valves are classified as Normally Closed or Normally Open based on the valve condition these valves are design as Internal & External Pilot Operated.
In construction of valve internal pilot holes is been design such it uses the line pressure for its operation define as differential pressure. When the coil is energized, it opens the pilot orifice and releases pressure to the outlet side of the valve.

- Diaphragm piloted valve multiplies this small pilot flow, by using it to control the flow through a much larger orifice
- FFV Diaphragm Solenoid Valves are tight shut off
- Diaphragm piloted valve have More cycle than direct acting solenoid valve
